Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the MT150HEXH2 motorized or manual?
A: Manual. It uses a hand-turned wheel rather than a motor, giving fine, controlled incremental travel — well suited to slow, precisely-controlled testing.

Q: What orientation is the MT150HEXH2?
A: This configuration is set up in a horizontal orientation, and can be used as a bench-top unit or wall-mounted.

Q: Does the MT150HEXH2 include a travel indicator?
A: This configuration includes a ruler assembly for manually reading travel distance rather than a digital readout.

Q: Is a force gauge included with the MT150HEXH2?
A: No — the test stand is sold separately from the force gauge. Pair it with a compatible Chatillon digital or mechanical force gauge sized to your required capacity.

Q: What does “Extended Travel” mean for the MT150HEXH2?
A: It gives the stand a longer working stroke than the standard version, useful for testing parts that need more travel distance than a standard stand provides.
