Description

DG Series with Metric Dial : 0.5% FS : NIST Data : 250 x 1.25 kgf : 5/16-18F

Chatillon mechanical force gauge with large, easy-to-read dial and peak-hold function. Rugged construction suitable for handheld use in production and laboratory environments.

Accuracy ±0.5% FS
Type Mechanical (analog dial)
Peak hold Yes
Calibration NIST data available on most models

Ideal for tensile/compression testing and ergonomic or muscle-strength evaluations. Can be mounted to a test stand for improved repeatability.

Typical applications: At 250 KG, the DG-250KG is designed for demanding industrial applications: structural fasteners, heavy gasket compression, and assembly-line force validation. As a mechanical spring-and-dial gauge with no battery to maintain, it is a reliable choice for plant-floor or field use. The included NIST-traceable Certificate of Calibration supports ISO 17025 labs and audit-driven QA programs.
