ICS Ohio Open House Recap: Clayton Lab Tours and Live Demos

ICS held its Ohio Open House on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at our Dayton/Clayton lab (7550B Jacks Lane, Clayton, OH 45315). Quality, engineering, and operations teams from around the Dayton area came through to meet our staff, tour the lab, and see live equipment demos.

What the event covered

The open house was built to be worth a few hours out of a workday: full facility tours, live vendor demos, lunch, and giveaways throughout. Seeing a multi-sensor metrology system measure a visitor’s own part, fixture, or surface gives a clearer read on cycle time and accuracy than a spec sheet does.

Why we host these

ICS isn’t just a certificate factory. Our Dayton/Clayton facility handles dimensional, electrical, and force calibrations in temperature- and humidity-controlled rooms for stability and repeatability, and our field team can calibrate on-site when instruments can’t be pulled from production without disrupting a schedule.

What visitors saw

• Facility tours: how we stage, inspect, clean, calibrate, and document instruments coming through the lab.
• Live demos: multi-sensor metrology systems measuring real parts, including some visitors brought with them.
• Mini-trainings: short sessions on compliance, lab capability, and calibration program optimization.
