What to expect

Being a guest on Precision in Practice is straightforward. Here's how the process works from start to finish.

Before the recording

We handle the prep. Once you're booked, we'll send you a short overview of the topics and questions so nothing catches you off guard. You don't need slides, scripts, or a studio setup. Come ready to talk about the work you know.

The recording session

Full sessions run about 45 minutes to an hour. It's a conversation, not an interview under bright lights. If something doesn't come out right, we can pause and pick it back up. We record on-site, at your facility or ours.

After we record

Our team takes it from there. We edit the full episode, pull short clips for social, and build out the promotional materials. You'll get a heads-up before anything goes live, along with links and assets you can share with your own audience.

FAQs

Do I need to prepare anything?

No heavy prep required. We'll send you the topics and questions ahead of time so you know the direction of the conversation. The goal is to capture your expertise, so the best preparation is simply showing up ready to speak about what you do every day.

Where does it get recorded?

We record on-site, either at your facility or at ICS. Recording at your facility often adds something to the conversation, since it puts you in the environment where the work actually happens. We bring the equipment and handle the setup, so all you need to do is show up.

Who sees it?

The finished episode is published publicly on ICS's YouTube channel. We also promote it on LinkedIn and give you assets to share with your network.

Can I review before it's published?

Yes. We can share the edited episode with you before it goes live so you have a chance to review it. If something needs adjusting, let us know and we'll make it right before publishing.
